BOM AIThe idea: your phone is the screen, your computer is the brain
The phone only opens the chat page — the AI keeps running on your computer as usual.
Your computer must stay on and BOM AI must be running, otherwise the phone cannot connect.
Step 1 — Install Tailscale on both devices
Install Tailscale on your computer and phone, then sign in with the same account.

Open a terminal on your computer and type:
tailscale serve https / http://localhost:3000HTTPS is required for the camera — without Serve, the phone cannot take photos to send to the AI.
Step 3 — Open the chat from your phone
Open Chrome on your phone and type your computer's Tailscale name + :443 — the chat opens exactly like on your computer.
Send photos for the AI to read, and search the web, from your phone
Tap attach → choose camera → take a photo and send it to the AI. Web search works the same as on the computer. (More details on the Usage & Model Selection page.)
On iPhone it works the same way — open Safari instead of Chrome; the steps are identical.

| The phone will not load the page | Check the computer is on + BOM AI is running |
| "Not secure" warning | Make sure you use tailscale serve, not a direct IP |
| Camera does not work | HTTPS (Serve) is required — HTTP has no camera permission |
| Chat is very slow | Check the phone's Wi-Fi + make sure the computer is not sleeping |
| Tailscale will not connect | Sign out and sign back in on both devices |
