Usage & Model Selection

Pick the right model for the job, then chat, search the web, and send images for the AI to read.

Meet the 3 models

Switch models with the button at the top right of the chat page — no extra setup needed.

Every model ships with well-tuned defaults — there is no need to change them.

Your first chat

Type anything into the box at the bottom and the AI answers right away. Try:

  • "Tell me the story of the Rattanakosin Kingdom"
  • "How to make shrimp fried rice"
  • "Help me write a vacation leave email"
  • "Compare the iPhone 16 with the Samsung S25"

Web search

Click the "Web search" button under the input box and ask about anything current. The AI searches the web and summarizes the answer with sources.

100% private — searches go through SearXNG on your own machine. Nothing is sent to Google or anywhere else.

Reading images

Attach a file or drag an image in, then ask what you want to know about it — the AI can read photos, screenshots, documents, signs, and labels.

Only the Mini model can read images. If another model will not answer about an image, switch to Mini.

Downloading more models

Want to try another model? Open the "Load model" menu and search for the model you want.
