Install on macOS

Install BOM AI on your Mac step by step with short clips — ready in 10 minutes.

Gatekeeper — if macOS says it "cannot verify the developer", right-click the file and choose "Open". See how →

Before you install

  • Check that you downloaded the right package — Intel (.dmg) or Apple Silicon (.dmg)
  • Make sure you are connected to the internet
  • Have at least 10 GB of free disk space

Install along with the clips

Open the .dmg file and drag BOM AI into the Applications folder. The app downloads the AI model automatically.

Open your first chat

Open BOM AI from Applications — the chat page opens at localhost:3000.

Port 11435 belongs to the Ollama engine, not the chat page — always open the chat at port 3000.
